Please be advised that Betty Spears Child Care Centre is open for 50 weeks per year. We close for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period each year where fees are not payable.
We understand that you would like to visit our centre before deciding to put your child’s name on our waiting list and you are welcome to do so. However, please understand that our centre is very well regarded in the community and it can take over a year (or more) before we are in a position to offer you a place for your child. Due to this time frame we recommend that you email in your application ASAP and consider waiting closer to the time of enrolment before visiting.

If you would like to visit our centre please call our Centre Director on 9558 8350 and she will organise a mutually convenient time for you to visit the centre.
Betty Spears Child Care Centre Waiting List information
Thank you for your interest in our centre
To put your child’s name on our waiting list:
- Step 1. Please email your completed waiting list application form through to our office
- Step 2. To secure your place on our waiting list we require a waiting list fee of $30 per application. This fee helps to offset the administrative costs involved in maintaining a current waiting list for our not for profit, community based centre.
To ensure your child’s name is added to our waiting list please deposit $30 into the following centre account.

Please ensure your child’s name is listed as the reference so we can match your payment to your waiting list form and email you a receipt. Your receipt will act as confirmation that you are on our waiting list and we will contact you as soon as we are able to offer your child a place at our centre. We may also ring you from time to time to check that your care needs remain current. If your contact details change you will need to let us know as inability to contact you may result in your child’s name being taken off our waiting list.
